When I woke up this morning social media had been flooded with pictures from last nights VMA's. Being the type of gal who likes to take a nosy at the outfit choices, I decided to make a 'Best Dressed vs 'Worst Dressed' post, showing the outfits I like and disliked from the show last night. So, let's get started!
Best dressed:

Demi always manages to look amazing in anything she wears. From sweatpants and trainers to dresses and heels she always manages to look glam, and last night was no exception. The figure hugging scarlet dress looked amazing and showed off her curves perfectly. This is one of my favourite outfits Miss Lovato has worn to an award show.
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale rocked a two piece look; with a leather cropped cami and gorgeous print skirt. The newly established country singer looked elegant and pulled off the outfit to a T. I'd like to steal her wardrobe! Whether she's playing Aria in PLL or just being herself her outfit choices are always on point and for that, I'm very jealous.
Miley Cyrus looked casual yet classy with a shiny black leather two piece, certainly a lot classier then the outfit she opted for last year during her performance alongside Robin Thicke. Even though she kept her outfit simple, she still managed to look great. Award show fitting yet comfy and casual.
Last but not least the stunningly beautiful Ariana Grande. 'The Problem' singer wore a black leather dress and thigh high boots, and I must say she looked amazing! The 21 year old then went on to open the show alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj and killed it!

First up is Amber Rose. The Actress/Model/Artist topped the charts for the worst dressed of the night. Her extrememly revealing outfit makes it seem as though she's attending a beach party and not an award show.
Chloe Grace Moretz usually chooses amazing outfits to wear when she's seen out in the public eye however, last night was a different story. I love the trousers and the shoes but, I feel as though a different top would have made the outfit look a lot less dated and more suited for 2014.
Britney Spears 2.0? Katy Perry chose to do her best impression of Britney and recreated the outfit she wore with Justin Timberlake in 2001. Although Katy can pull off pretty much any outfit, she doesn't seem to do this one any justice. A more figure hugging outfit would have suited her better as her curves are amazing!
Last up is Singer/Songwriter Charli XCX. Sporting a Black and Yellow jumpsuit she manages to stand out but for the wrong reasons, a less brightly coloured outfit would have suited her skin tone a lot more and would have been more flattering. Don't get me wrong I love her and her music, but last nights outfit was a no from me (got all Simon Cowell there).
Now I'm off to watch the pre show, followed by the award show itself and tweet away!
